Our 20th Anniversary Whisky in Collaboration with The Lakes Distillery
As part of our 20th anniversary celebrations, we have worked with The Lakes Distillery to produce The Whiskymaker’s Editions Reflections, a limited-edition single malt whisky. This collaboration marks 20 years of past accomplishments, present triumphs, and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
Reflecting an evolutionary journey from the opening of L’Enclume, to the creation of Our Farm a few years later, to what is now his eight-strong hospitality portfolio across two continents, The Whiskymaker’s Editions Reflections is a modern interpretation of a classic, inspired by a moment of contemplation amid the natural beauty of the Lake District.
Grounded by earthly connections, a sense of place, and a desire to develop a harmonious relationship between the whisky’s flavours and the sustainable ethos and experience that keeps Rogan at the pinnacle of modern British dining, Reflections is a restrained, elegant and light whisky, but also incredibly vibrant.
Suggestive of the autumnal Lake District in character, on tasting Reflections, spiced pumpkin and fragrant wood spice evolve into apple compote, warming cinnamon, and a long, reflective finish.
Every bottle is non-chill filtered, natural in colour, and available to enjoy in all our UK restaurants, in Our Shop, and alongside our specially created dessert of Pumpkin and Muscovado Sponge, Spiced Apple, Miso Caramel and Pecan dessert on our November three-course at home.
The label has been designed by local friend and artist Hideyuki Sobue and is inspired by the marigolds on Our Farm. Find out more below.

Meet The Artist Behind The Label
An Osaka University of Arts graduate living and working in the Lake District, Hideyuki Sobue has exhibited extensively throughout the UK and Japan.
It was while working at Rogan’s Our Farm in the Cartmel Valley, where the rhythms of the seasons are at their most apparent, that Hideyuki identified the inspiration for the Reflections artwork – the marigold flower. A plant close to Simon’s heart, the marigold is cherished not only for its great flavour and garnishing capabilities but also as a companion plant to help keep pests off other vegetables on the farm.
